What is the SOCAL Worship Conference? The SOCAL Worship Conference is a one-day conference designed to equip and encourage those who serve during the Sunday worship service. Our aim in this year's gathering is to equip attendees with a deep understanding of how the word of God regulates the worship of God (Col. 3:16, Eph. 5:19). 

Where and when? The conference will be held at Christian Fellowship Bible Church  in West Covina, CA on June 28, 2025. The conference will begin at 9:00 AM and end at 3:30 PM

What do I pay and what do I get? The cost is $25 (LASBA pastors do not have to pay eventbrite fees using PROMO CODE: LASBA). Every attendee will receive lunch plus Sean's new book on Corporate Worship.

An Evening with Pastor Sean DeMars

About: Come join us Friday evening as we hear Sean's testimony of God's transforming grace from his book Rebel to Your Will: A Story of Abuse, Father Hunger and Gospel Hope and how God rescued him from the Prosperity Gospel. We hope this event equips you with the biblical gospel and helps you
counsel family and friends who are being taught a false gospel.

Speaker: Sean DeMars is husband to Amber, dad to Patience and Isabella, and pastor at 6th Avenue Community Church in Decatur, Alabama. Sean is the author of several books including: Rebel to Your Will: A Story of Abuse, Father Hunger and Gospel Hope; Health, Wealth, and the (Real) Gospel; Does
the Gospel Promise Health & Prosperity?; Redemption Song: A Primer on Singing for the People of God and the host of the Room for Nuance podcast.

Suggested Donation: $5 (LASBA churches free)
